Bee Propolis and Royal Jelly interaction with anticoagulants

Because Honey Bee Propolis is a natural anticoagulant, interaction is possible when taking blood thinning anticoagulant drugs such as Warfarin (also named Coumadin, Jantoven, Marevan, Waran), Acenocoumarol, Phenprocoumon (selled as Marcoumar, Marcumar, Falithrom), Heparin, Phenindione, Dicumarol, Dicoumarol, Lipo-Hepin, Liquaemin, herbs coumarin and licorice. If you are taking drugs for prevention of thrombosis or blood cloths, please consult your physician before taking Bee Propolis. Also, bear in mind that there have been cases of interaction between Royal jelly and Warfarin, that caused elevating INR and bleeding.

If you have a medical condition or are taking other drugs, herbs, or supplements, you should speak with a qualified health care provider before starting any kind of a new therapy.
